Terms of Service for Tardis

Effective Date: May 29, 2025

Welcome to Tardis: A Weekly Hour Allocator for Projects ("Tardis," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our app and website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Use of the Service

Tardis is a time management tool designed to help you allocate and track weekly hours for your personal projects. You may use the Service as follows:

  • Unauthenticated Use: You can use Tardis offline without an account, in which case your project data is stored locally on your device using local storage or IndexedDB.
  • Authenticated Use: By creating an account, you can sync your project data across devices. Account creation requires providing an email address and password.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

2. Account Registration

To enable cross-device syncing, you may create an account by providing your email address and a password. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • All activities that occur under your account.
  • Notifying us immediately at dev@codingspace.io if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. Premium Accounts and Payments

Tardis offers a premium account with additional features, such as unlimited projects and advanced analytics. Payments for premium accounts are processed securely through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. By purchasing a premium account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate payment information.
  • Pay all applicable fees as described on the pricing page.
  • Stripe's terms and conditions, which govern payment processing.

We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time, with notice provided via email or through the Service. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

4. Data Storage and Syncing

  • Unauthenticated Use: If you use Tardis without logging in, your project data (e.g., hours logged, project details) is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for backing up this data.
  • Authenticated Use: If you create an account and log in, your project data is stored on our servers to enable cross-device syncing. We take reasonable measures to secure this data, but you acknowledge that no system is completely secure.
  • Data Deletion: You can delete your account at any time by contacting us at dev@codingspace.io. Upon deletion, your synced data will be removed from our servers, but local data on your device may remain until manually cleared.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Not use the Service to store or transmit unlawful, harmful, or inappropriate content.
  • Not attempt to access, modify, or interfere with the Service's systems, code, or other users' data.
  • Not use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality.

6. Intellectual Property

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service without our prior written consent.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or for any other reason, including but not limited to inactivity. Upon termination, your account and synced data may be deleted, though local data on your device will remain until manually cleared.

8. Disclaimers
